Configure a validated, low-carbon stone arch bridge online and download the drawings.
Start designing See pricingBuild up to four times more bridges than reinforced concrete. Local materials and labour save 60–80% on comparable spans.
No steel and only a fraction of the cement of concrete bridges — avoiding 50–75% of construction-related carbon emissions.
A technology proven over millennia. Stone arches still in service today carry modern heavy traffic loads.
Set the span, width and crossing conditions. The model stays within a design envelope validated on 120+ built bridges.
Need a stamped, site-specific design or a crossing outside the standard tables? Choose Custom project.
The web-based configurator only builds spans, widths and crossing conditions pre-calculated, pre-verified, and used successfully on 120+ stone arch bridges in use today. Anything outside that standard range is not sold through the configurator, but through Custom project.
The configurator produces concept-level drawings without engineer stamp, signature or certification. Choose Custom project if you would like our engineers to design for your specific local hydrology and geotechnical conditions, at which point they certify the drawings and take responsibility for the structural design. With Concept drawings or Tender pack, responsibility remains with your engineer, who signs off — this is clearly marked on each drawing delivered.
Concept drawings: general-arrangement drawings (setting out, deck, elevation, longitudinal and cross section) in PDF. The tender pack adds a quantities bill of quantities (BoQ) and technical specifications, formatted to drop into your tender. Custom project is scoped per brief.
Yes. Bespoke spans, unusual site conditions or a fully stamped design are handled under Custom project, priced per project after a short brief.
The engineer of record (your engineer for Concept drawings or Tender pack; our engineer if you chose Custom project and carry our stamp), the contractor executing the works, and the owner of the bridge. Concept drawings are a design aid within a validated envelope — not a substitute for site-specific engineering, local approval and construction supervision.
